As Bicycle Mayor of Warwick district and amongst all the other hats I wear, I also organise Warwickshire’s first kidical mass rides, I started in 2022 and there were 18 events in the UK, now there’s well over 40.
If you don’t know kidical mass is a global movement where well over 150,000 people in more than 500 locations across the world come together to show those in charge that people want to ride, but very often don’t feel safe enough to do so, it is on them to make change and I am working hard to help it happen.

I have had as many as 101 on rides previously, but both rides this year were a bit wet!!! Someone did say today, if we’d have gone swimming we would have got less wet! but despite this I still counted 45 on todays ride which was fantastic, with lots of young riders, and many different types of bikes.
We had bubbles blowing from the back of my bike which you may not see, but we also had the TUUUUNES! going which you definitely can hear (sound up!).
Today was probably my favourite KM ride, everyone got in the spirit.
