Last winter was our first as an operating company, we tried to carry on teaching outside and we learned a lot from it. Demand was relatively low and the weather disrupted the lessons from week to week.
So this year we put plans in place to mitigate the disruption. Back in the late summer we applied to Warwick District Council sport and leisure fund for some funding to pay for an indoor venue over the winter months, this was needed because after a successful 2024, demand is high and we have had a huge number of enquiries.
We sought an indoor venue that had a regular availability so there was continuity for our clients.
We found Whitnash Sports and Social Club had a regular Sunday morning slot available and were extremely helpful and accommodating.
We will be using this venue from this Sunday 15th December through to Sunday March 2nd and hopefully avoid the worst of the winter weather.
Thank you to the sport and leisure team at Warwick District Council, this funding will allow many more people to learn to ride, gaining an important life skill and be ready to roll those wheels in 2025.
